Unlike a lot of my friends, I am not a Scandal fanatic. Never been to a Scandal watch party or tweeted throughout an entire episode. But, I am an Olivia Pope fan. She’s confident. Smart. Strong yet vulnerable at times. And the girl’s got style. Yes, Liv’s wardrobe is to die for but, when I first caught a glimpse of her home, I became an even bigger fan of her style. Simple, classic elegance – with a touch of femininity. Can’t you picture yourself relaxing on Olivia’s sofa with a glass of wine and bowl of popcorn after a long day of “handling” things? Today’s post will make your dream a reality.

A neutral color palette, simple furnishings and plush throw pillows help create a comfortable, serene allows space – a definite escape from Olivia’s fast paced, dramatic “Gladiator” world.

Displaying collectibles, flowers, and interesting art work add a touch of sophistication while maintaining the tranquil mood of the room.
