A friend of mine recently asked me to help her give her boring living room a much-needed makeover. I took one look at the bland beige walls, beige rug and brown furniture, and immediately said “we have got to add some color to this place!” When I saw the panic-stricken look on their face, I knew she was suffering from color-phobia. She’s not alone though. A lot of people have a fear of color when it comes to decorating. They think adding color to a room means you have to paint the walls. Then they’re afraid of picking the the wrong colors and having to live with the mistake. So instead they learn to live in a space with zero personality. If you can relate, today’s post is just for you; Despite your apprehension, decorating with color is pretty easy to do because a just a little goes a long way. Today, I’ll show you how to add color a room – with picking up a paintbrush.
